Harrow 450

In 2022, Harrow School will celebrate its 450th anniversary. The school was founded in 1572, under a Royal Charter granted by Queen Elizabeth I to John Lyon, a wealthy local farmer. It is located in a leafy 300 acre estate, encompassing much of Harrow on the Hill in north-west London.  Alumni, or ‘Old Harrovians’ as they are called, include eminent leaders from different sectors, including, politics, community, medicine, law and the arts.

In honour of this milestone anniversary, AISL, the international brand of Harrow, offers the following signature activities to celebrate everything that Harrow School stands for: education, values and service, following in the examples of distinguished alumni. International Harrovians all join to celebrate their achievements in spirit of Harrow’s four core values: Courage, Honour, Humility, and Fellowship, through year-round events built on three themes: “WE SERVE”, “WE INNOVATE” and “WE UNITE”.
