“Music Making 450” Performance | AISL Harrow Hong Kong

As part of the Harrow 450 celebration, an Anniversary Festival Music Concert was hosted at Harrow International School Hong Kong on 1 Dec 2022.

450 Students from AISL Harrow Schools across Asia, including Appi, Bangkok, Beijing, Chongqing, Haikou, Hong Kong, Nanning, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai, joined hands to stage the impressive performance, demonstrating Harrow’s values of honour and fellowship. Audiences were blown away by a wide range of music such as chamber music, choir, string orchestra and more, showcasing our students’ immense talent and musicality.

Music has been a significant part of AISL Harrow’s holistic education. It’s a momentous occasion to celebrate Harrow’s 450th Anniversary with a music festival that brings AISL Harrow community together.

A highlight of the night was the stirring Harrow Family performance of the centuries-old anthem Forty Years On which meets the ears at every important occasion at Harrow. Written by Edward Ernest Bowen and John Farmer in 1872, it is the main song of Harrow School. The performance was a wonderful celebration of this significant milestone.
