“The turning point for me was the opportunity to participate in a scientific research programme on mental illness.”
During Year 10, I faced challenges with depression. My teacher encouraged me to better understand mental illness by joining a scientific research programme led by a professor from the University of Cambridge. This incredible opportunity allowed me to share my thoughts and raise awareness about mental wellbeing. At the end of the course, I even presented my research at an international conference, marking a significant milestone in my research journey.
“One of the things I love the most about Harrow is the extensive Enrichment Activities. ”
Sports have always played a significant role in my life. After being diagnosed with chondromalacia patella, I was unable to continue playing volleyball. However, the diverse range of extracurricular activities at AISL Harrow allowed me to explore other sports, such as equestrian, dancing and sailing. With the guidance of our PE teachers, I discovered new passions and received invaluable professional advice. These diverse opportunities not only enrich my student life, but also foster an environment where individuality is celebrated.

“My key is to make the most of the accessible resources at school.”
Looking back on my time at AISL Harrow, I am immensely grateful for the dedicated teachers who unlocked my potential and supported me throughout the journey. Their encouragement empowered me to strive for excellence and carve my own path.
At AISL Harrow, we are more than just a school – we’re a dynamic community where everyone can flourish in their unique way. Whether it’s through sports, arts, or performance, there’s a world of opportunities waiting to be explored.
